The Absent Gallery can take the strain out of the process by creating and curating your bespoke virtual interactive exhibition.
The exhibitions can be unique to the virtual world or used to promote a current Real World Exhibition.
Whether your exhibitions are for single artists or a group we will choose the most appropriate virtual evironment to accommodate the 2D or 3D work.

Edit and Prepare Images
We will prepare your images for uploading to the platform.
Edits to images include resizing to the platform’s requirements and minor corrections, for example; cropping and correction of camera lens distortions.
Any image requiring more than 5 mins of editing will be parked and the artist/gallery will be contacted. On instruction from the artist/gallery parked images will either be rejected completely from the exhibition or new images supplied by the artist/gallery.
If The Absent Gallery is able to rescue an image with further editing the artist/gallery will be provided with a price for our services.
Catalogue Artwork
Adding an image, title, dimensions, artist’s name, technique and description (if applicable) for each piece.

Commissions
Hosting
Once published your Virtual Exhibition will be hosted on your own profile page on The Absent Gallery website, which we will create for free.
Your profile page will be customised with any logo, contact details, website and social media links. In the case of Real World Galleries we will create an enhanced profile page which will also include your business details, such as opening hours and also provide an embedded Google Map.
All your exhibitions will be hosted on your profile page giving somewhere convenient and distinctive to send visitors.
The Absent Gallery will direct any visitors directly to your profile page during any promotion that we undertake on your behalf.
Your profile page will also host any past exhibitions which have been archived.
Promotion
For each new exhibition that we create for you we will also produce a Trailer / Launch promotional graphics which will include:
- the artist(s)/ gallery’s name
- any logo
- the exhibition title
- a url to your profile page on the TAG website
The promotional graphics will be shared on social media. You can also use the promotional graphics for any self-promotion.
A series of images from the exhibition will be captured and used for promotional purposes during the course of the exhibition. These images will be used to create enagement over social media platforms periodically and at our discretion.
Additional Promotion Package
If you require some extra promotional material the Additional Promotion Package will provide you with:
The creation of an animated slideshow video for promotional purposes over social media and to archive the exhibition once it has ended. This would be accessible on your profile page.
The animated slideshow will contain exhibition title graphics and end credit graphics including artist’s names, any logo and website addresses for your profile page on The Absent Gallery and to your own website.
The animated slideshow will be comprised of still and moving images captured from your exhibition, including close up shots of artwork.
Once produced the video file will also be provided to you to exhibit on your own website.

Requirements
- Completed Form
Image Requirements
- Images of artwork should be in jpeg or png file format.
- Files should be saved as the artwork’s title.
- File size and resolution: The bigger the better but at least 2MB or 1800px sent via WeTranfer.
- RGB colour profile.
- Images can include artwork in frames but not behind glass. An artwork in a frame may be cropped and the frame recreated digitally by TAG.

- Title of Artwork
- Artist name
- Unframed Dimensions in cms (width, height and depth)
- Year of creation
- Medium.
- Description (if applicable)
(Frame Details if applicable)
- Overall Dimensions in cms (Width, Height, Depth)
- Frame profile width
- Colour.
We will do our best to recreate the appearance of your frame but please accept the limitations.
