Curator's Viewing Tips When Using This Virtual Exhibition

Top Tip: If you are using a mouse with a wheel, once you are in detail view you can use the wheel to zoom in closer.

SPRING OPEN 2021
The Absent Gallery’s Second Open Call exhibition
The SPRING OPEN CALL invited submissions from 2D and 3D artists from all over the world. Over 1700 artworks were submitted from all corners of the globe and after careful selection 130 pieces were selected and hung in this exciting exhibition. Over 80 artists are participating in this general exhibition with work exhibited, reflecting a broad range of subject matter.
No charge or commission is taken from the artists, who will benefit 100% from your support. You are invited to contact artists directly for sales enquiries.
In addition to viewing the artwork in the virtual exhibition you can now also experience each piece on the wall of your own home through the use of Augmented Reality a mobile device and the unique exhibition Augmented Reality ID number.

This exhibition is now concluded. Artworks displayed are for archival purposes.
LOCKDOWN OPEN invited submissions from 2D and 3D artists predominantly based in Somerset. The theme of this exhibition is as the title suggests LOCKDOWN. Entries were to reflect and interpret this theme in a multitude of ways.
Over 100 pieces of artwork have been carefully selected from 25 artists and professionally curated for this virtual exhibition.
